I loved this product until the cloth that hides the bulb fell off and I had to sew it myself, too difficult to fix. Otherwise it works as expected.
I don't post reviews often. I like to but I just buy too much stuff on Amazon to be able to keep up with them all, lol!
I'm posting this for one main reason, which is to show prospective buyers how to properly put it together. First off, it's EASY. There is a seam where the velcro parts meet and that's the part that faces the wall so you don't see it. Just like any lampshade seam.
What I've noticed in the pics that people have posted, they have the lampshade frame improperly installed. It's not supposed to show above the shade!! They can easily fix it if they figure it out or see my review.
In any case, here are a couple of pics of how it's SUPPOSED to look!
I had expected the shade to be bigger but I realize now that the size is good for me as it doesn't block too much of the picture on the wall, and I want both the lamp AND that picture where they are.
It's a nice lamp and the shade has a warm glow. I gave the included LED bulb away as I loathe led lighting. I put a regular incandescent bulb in and added a dimmer, and now it's warm and cozy.
I've seen the same lamp on Wayfair for $139.00. This is a good deal and faster shipping!
