I replaced an old 1970s flat with a ceiling light box fixture in my entryway. I wanted the ability to direct the light beams to the walls and floor. I created my own base for the mounting hardware with a wood slat. It was all easy until it came to getting the two mounting screws through the holes. That took me almost 1/2 hour to get those two screws through the holes because you are working completely blind. This also required a lot of adjustment to those screws to get them just the right length, but even then I was never able to get the flat top piece to lay completely flush on all 4 sides. The lights also have a wide spread. I've already replaced them with narrower-angle beam light bulbs.

These are great easy to install and are very stylish everyone that have seen them love them i would highly recommend these if your looking for an upgrade to your old light fixtures
